INTERACTIVE MAP & WHAT WHERE WHEN GUIDE!

Download DUST app NOW to read details on all of the exciting  Art, Camp, Events & Music offerings AND to check out all of the cool features on your phone (works offline!)

DID YOU KNOW?

  • The app was created to work offline while at events. So you won’t need to be connected to access all of the info! Just be sure to download the latest version of the app AND the What If database BEFORE you lose cell service!
  • To make sure you have the latest database, instead of closing & re-opening the app, you can scroll to the right on the home page top menu, hit the 3 dots, then select “Download update”!
  • In the app, you can *star */favourite Art, Camp, Events & Music listings!
  • There’s a handy print icon at the top of Faves page for you to print at home before you come if you prefer to have a hard copy – we do love a highlighter!
  • You can add your faves to your own calendar too!
  • You can choose to print the WWW in advance at home (coming circa July 28) if you prefer not to use your phone.

PLEASE share this to your friends lists & in your group chats, so that people don’t struggle with trying to download on site. Not everyone is reading their emails or seeing the FP/Blog site posts!

Participant Map Info

The Participant Map is accessible in the Dust app, AND you’ll be offered a printed map when you arrive at Gate!

Key objectives with the Placement teams this year included:

  • provide varied and increased activities in the Forest zone. We have loads of theme camps, sound camps, and art projects offering both daytime and nighttime activities and attractions.
  • separate foot traffic as much as possible from roving cars and trucks
  • present the magic river as a backdrop to interactive art
  • support new friendships between us through a strategy to put art, hosting venues, and common areas toward the pedestrian side of pathways
  • encourage community building by putting camps together based on energy and engagement

Vehicles transport us to the site, and then become clutter! This year’s site plan suggests that community spaces, art, and interactive zones be located at the front of pedestrian pathways, vehicle clutter be kept at the rear of camps with tents and RVs in the middle.

We hope that many camps will place elements of pageantry on the pedestrian sides, such as banners, LED lights and other elements to engage other participant and create a festive temporary autonomous zone to play and attract one another.
