What If Love Wins?
2026 Effigy Ceremony – Call for Artists & Crew – NOT YET OPEN

What If Effigy Ceremony – Saturday, July 25th| Performance at 9pm

We are seeking movers, makers, dreamers, and doers to co-create the What If Effigy Ceremony – a luminous, one-night-only spectacle that transforms the night into a living canvas.

Without fire, we turn to bold invention: LEDs, projection, sound, costume, movement, and story come together to create a sensory experience that celebrates our shared imagination.

Join us if you’re a:
– Dancer, flow artist, mover, or performer
– Light sculptor, projectionist, costumer, or visual artist
– Builder, stagehand, tech operator, or ceremony weaver
– Enthusiast with heart, curiosity, and a willingness to collaborate

Requirements:
–  Available for a practice/rehearsal Saturday afternoon, August 2
– Committed to being part of the show Saturday night
– Have your own glow toys, LED flow props and costumes
– Open to collaborative creation and experimental performance

Whether you shine in front of the crowd or support from behind the scenes, your presence is essential. Together, we’ll build a moment that lights up the dark—and lingers in memory long after the lights fade.

To perform:

1. Declare your intent to participate by July 21, 2025.  If you miss this date, show up to rehearsal on GLOW day  and we will find a spot for you to jam in the performance.
2. Bring your own LED / Glow toys to rehearsal and the event.
3. Meet at the Effigy , Saturday at 3pm for a show walk-through and rehearsal. Dress for the weather!
4. Perform in the Effigy ceremony Saturday Call-Time 8pm / Showtime 9:30pm
Costumes:  White and black base colours for costuming and then accessorize with lights, flowers, headpieces, and whatever makes your heart sing!
Tickets: All participants in this event must secure their own ticket to the event.
