Reducing reliance on generators is good for our event as well as the planet. Our goal is to provide power to art and sound stages placed in areas we can service. Due to the difficulty distributing power to all areas of the venue, theme camps will be required to provide their own power, but we hope to reduce the number of generators in theme camps by facilitating resource sharing. We will attempt to place installations next to each other that want to share resources like power.

List each generator model and wattage you plan to use, safety, monitoring plan for the generator (fire extinguisher, fuel dump, hours of operation, safety person, etc.), and intended precautions to minimize noise bleed (quiet generator, sound baffle, etc.). If you are a sound camp or art project placed in an area serviced by power, please specify your approximate peak wattage usage and hours or operation.

Amplified Sound

If you intend to bring a PA, the size and hours of operation will influence your placement. It is imperative that you accurately respond to these questions so we can place you in a location that is compatible with the programming you want to offer. If the information you provide does not match the equipment you bring or the hours that you use it, we will politely ask you to turn off your PA out of respect to your neighbors. Please review the event sound policy in the Survival Guide for full details on hours of operation and sound levels.
